At Solstice Provides, we are committed to empowering single mothers of color by providing the resources, support, and community they need to thrive. Founded by Brittany Somerville, a woman who was raised by a single mother at one point or another, our organization understands the unique challenges single mothers of color face—challenges that are often amplified by systemic barriers.
We believe that when single mothers are supported, families are stronger, and communities are uplifted. Through providing practical resources, mentorship, advocacy, and community-building, we aim to dismantle the obstacles that hold single mothers back and provide the tools they need to create brighter futures for themselves and their children.
